- A station's page says when it was last played and when its listing changed.
- Settings is shorter, and My episodes is in sections: In progress, Unplayed, Played.

Improved
- The lock screen, Control Center and the car show a playing station as the mini player does: its flag and name, then the song on air, or its language and genres.
Fixed
- Live HLS stations, like RNE Radio 3, play as live on iPhone and Mac instead of showing −0:00.
- Two quick taps on a station in CarPlay no longer leave an empty playing screen: only one tap answers.
- Android Auto no longer draws a progress bar under a live station.

New
- Collections in the car: CarPlay and Android Auto list your collections as folders above Radio’s stations. A folder opens three levels deep; the last one shows every station below it, under the name of the collection each sits in.
- Next and previous by collection: a station started from a collection steps through it, round both ends – on the lock screen, in the car, on headphones and on the station’s card. Started elsewhere, it steps through My stations. Play in a collection’s title row starts its first station.
Improved
- A station’s page follows when you step to the next or previous station, and Back still goes where you came from.
- The mini player names a station under its flag, over its language and genres.
- My stations’ cards are leaner: no language and genres line, and a bigger play button.
- All’s groups open and close, start closed, and stay as you left them.
- The All · Collections switch stands centred, like My shows, and cards line up 16 pt in with the bars and the mini player.

New
- Collections: your own folders of stations, one inside another as deep as you like. My stations ▸ Collections makes them; Add to collection on a station’s card, or a touch and hold on its row, puts a station in.
- All groups itself by country, language or genre, from Group ▾ at the right of All · Collections.
Improved
- A collection is renamed, moved, filled with Add stations… and put in your own order by dragging, all from its ⋯; Take out, by a left-swipe, empties it station by station.
- My stations reopens where you left it: All or Collections, and inside the collection you had open.
- A station’s picture is the same on the lock screen, in the car and in the mini player.
- A station is added to My stations from its card’s back, by name.
- A tap on an earlier song in a station’s Songs opens it, as in My songs.
- Under a Shazam match the station’s name takes one line, and a tap turns the card onto Songs.
Fixed
- Choosing another episode while one was starting could still play the first; now only the last one you chose plays.

New
- My songs: a song you like is kept with one tap — Add to my songs, under the song on air, on each earlier song in a station’s Songs, and under a Shazam match. Radio’s third section, My songs, lists them all; a tap opens the song in Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube.
- A station’s page is one fixed screen, the podcast player’s twin: its cover is a card that turns over onto About, Songs and Stream, and the play button never moves.
Improved
- A sideways swipe turns the cover over, on Now playing and on a station’s page.
- With Flip the cover on opening on, a station’s card turns over by itself when its page opens, as the podcast player’s cover does.
- A station that sends a picture with its song, like Radio Paradise, shows it as the cover while that song is on air.
Fixed
- An episode whose audio is gone says so — the publisher no longer offers it — instead of offering a Retry that could never work.
- When something cannot be saved, the app says so; before, it said nothing.

New

Improved
- A station that loses the network while playing — in the car, or on a locked phone — waits for it and plays again by itself within seconds of coverage coming back, for up to 15 minutes.
- Far less battery and heat with the app open: the playing bars move 8 times a second instead of on every frame, and a long title scrolls once, then rests.
Fixed
- After a connection error, play in the car, on the lock screen or in Control Center tries again, where it did nothing before.
- A station that failed stays on the lock screen and the car’s Now Playing, with its logo, ready to play again.
